• The neighbors are our friends, so please show respect and avoid outside noise that carries to them.
• No parties and no music outside.
• No noise outside after dark — if your group is making noise, please move inside.

Please keep the outdoors, outside, by leaving your shoes at the front door. This also helps keep the house clean for your stay.

Each room has a complete set of towels. Spa and beach towels for every guest are in the downstairs purple bathroom/steam room.

• It's big and heats fast. There's a button to light it; if that's not working, use the fire-starter lighters in the kitchen drawers.
• The propane tank is in the right compartment — turn the valve on and off after each use for extra safety.
• Extra propane tanks are in the metal cabinet on the deck. Contact the rental agency if more is needed.
• Cleaning service cleans the grill between renters — let the manager know if it isn't clean.
• Bring all food inside afterward so bears aren't drawn to the house.

• There's a game court above the driveway for soccer, volleyball, badminton, and ping pong — supplies are in a plastic container. Please let the rental agency know if anything is broken or missing.
• Corn-hole is set up at the fire pit area below the driveway.
• Please keep noise levels low while playing.
• The turf out front can be parked on, or better yet, played on.

• Network names: 1607Plumas 2.4 and 1607Plumas 5. Password: 1607plumas.
• Reception is good throughout the house.
• If your connection isn't working, first check your signal strength.
• Strong signal but no internet? That's likely a Spectrum (the cable provider) issue — the rental agency can help.

• TVs connect through Apple TV. Turn on with the TV remote or the Apple TV remote — your phone can also be set up to control Apple TV.
• Use Apple TV to access Netflix, Spectrum cable channels, Apple Music, and more.
• To connect: press the menu button on the Apple TV remote, then set the TV to the correct HDMI input.

• The house has in-floor radiant heat — it warms your feet and body without drying out the air.
• If you change the temperature, the in-floor system takes about an hour to respond. It's silent, so give it time — setting it too high will overheat the room later.
• Thermostat locations: main floor in the kitchen, the downstairs bedroom, and multiple controls for the upstairs bedrooms (which also heat nearby rooms).
• The Game Room has no heat of its own but warms up if the door is left open.
• Space heaters are available in each bedroom for extra warmth.
• Tip: closing the blinds at night helps keep the cold out.

• There's no AC — just the trees. Like most Tahoe houses, this one relies on cooler nighttime air.
• Along with fans in each room, a Whole House Fan pulls cooler outside air in (it can only cool the house down to the outside temperature).
• Controls are at the top of the stairs: the top button turns the fan on/off and sets a timer (1, 2, 4+ hours); the bottom button switches speed — High for quick cooling, Low for steady cooling.
• Open the door and window of the room you want cooled to create a breeze; leaving the dining room window open pulls air through the whole house.
• Fans and humidifiers (which also help cool the air) are available in each room.
• Tip: keep blinds down during the day to keep rooms cool.

• Most indoor lights are on dimmer switches.
• Tip: if a light won't turn on, make sure the dimmer slider is pushed all the way to the right.
• Outside front porch lights turn on and off automatically via a photo-eye sensor.

• Two stereo systems — one in the living room, one in the kitchen — both connect over Bluetooth under the name EDIFIER.
• You can also play music through the Den TV using the Apple Music app on Apple TV.
• Please don't move the speakers from their locations.

• The porch blower and its battery charger are in the Den.
• Broom and mop are in the front hall closet.
• Portable and handheld vacuums are in the Game Room.
• Cleaning supplies are under the Game Room sink and under the kitchen sink.
